Mack Trucks‘ deliveries continued to slump in December, dropping 36 percent from the same month in 2006, Mack’s parent company Volvo AB reported Wednesday.

Greensboro’s Volvo Trucks North America saw a 5 percent decline in deliveries of its trucks in 2007, even as deliveries increased in the fourth quarter.
The company delivered 31,889 trucks in the fourth quarter, a 6 percent increase from fourth quarter 2006. But deliveries for the year dipped 5 percent, to 100,109.
