Mack Trucks is a subsidiary of AB Volvo manufactures trucks. When it comes to vocational trucks Mack Trucks is on the top of the line in manufacturing class 8 to class 13 rated trucks. In North American the truck company is know more for manufacturing off road trucks.
The entire Mack vehicles are with chrome plated bulldog logo on the front, some times with gold plated bulldog which denotes that the truck is built with entire Mack parts.
It’s to differentiate a Mack Trucks with another manufacturers engine, axles, transmission or suspension. It’s very rare to spot Mack truck with a gold plated bull dog.
Mack is the name trusted in 45 countries.
A Mack trucks has its roots as back as in 1890 when John M. Mack got a job in a carriage and wagon manufacturing company. And what’s very strange is that John and his brother Augustus brought the company where John worked. In the 1900 the company produced a bus which was its first heavy vehicle. Soon in 1902 the Mack Brothers Company was founded.
Now lets discuss one of Mack’s vocational truck Mack LE613.
Mack LE613 was generally offered in white color. It is used to haul lot of paper and garbage. The truck has very wide windshields that give a trouble free front view with handle bars mounted in the center of the two separate windshields. The cab looks box type with round small head lamps following the indicators. Just below the windshield is the front grill that has a MACK name written in chrome. The truck doesn’t have a gold plated name as the truck employee’s transmission from Allison.
Inside the cab is large space for the driver and can accommodate company up to three. On the steering is a Mack trucks logo with a bulldog. Gauges are kept simple and well within the vision. On the left of the steering wheel is a gear indicator with a Allison name. on the right of the steering is the hydraulic button which is as simple to operate as it looks.

Mack Mh613
Mack Mh613 is yesterday’s truck which was last manufactured in 1992.
The Mack Mh613 no doubt is huge but has blind spots. The front grill, with MACK written, is too large which looks like the grill has eaten up the windshield. To enter the cab the truck has two steps and then the final step just below the door. A long handle bar is equipped to climb the high cabin. The stainless steel tank is half below the cab. The 1992 Mack Mh613 is on sale for $34,134.
