One of the points of sale on this Freightliner truck is its 45 degree wheel cut and Freightliner’s TufTrac system for rear suspension that takes the liner through tight clearances and rough terrain which is present in almost all construction sites.
Condor’s 273 degree of vision comes with gigantic two piece windshield, optional back windows and electronic side window. With this drivers can see obstacles ahead on the road, with out any obstacles.

Now let’s review the power source of the truck
The engine for Condor comes from two engine manufacturers, Cummins and Caterpillar, with six engine types. The Cummins includes ISM, ISL and ISC where as Caterpillar is offered as CFE, C-10abd C-12. The horsepower generation from all of the engine type ranges around 275 to 350. These engines are mated to either Meritor and Eaton Fuller manual transmission or automatic transmission from Alison.
For most of the truck user’s, axle load capacity is majorly important. Freightliner Condor comes with load capacity for front axles that ranges from 12,000 lbs to 20,000 lbs. rear axle are Meritor either with single drive or dual drive with capacity ranging form 23,000 lbs to 70,000 lbs.
Front suspension, Freightliners single tamperleaf, is offered with capacity from 12,000lbs to 21,500lbs. And the figure changes to 16,000lbs to 23,000lbs when equipped with Freightliner single flat leaf suspension.
Freightliner COE is an old Freightliner truck which is offered for sale in used truck market. This 1996 model of Coe is priced at $28,000. What’s offered at that price is a Freightliner COE equipped with Caterpillar 3406E diesel engine that generates 435 horsepower and is mated to 13 speed transmission. This used Freightliner COE is featured with power steering, air conditioning, power window, cruise control, PTO, eight car capacity and enclosed car carrier.
