The Ford Motor Company has already recalled the Ford F- 150 Pickup trucks models of the year 2009- 10, because of the defective or faulty Door handles reported from North America. It was been observed that, while opening the problem caused due to the poor handles in the interior doors that allows pop up factors. The Ford is one of the leading company when it comes manufacturing of the pickup trucks, and more that ten millions units are been sold across the world. No doubt the Ford F- 150 Pickup trucks will be already on the roads and go further unnoticed because of the poor and defective door handles.
The recall for the Ford F- 150 Pickup trucks mainly involved with the 2009- 10 models that were fully equipped with Chrome door interior handles. Of the total production on the F-150, 2,80, 946 were almost sold in US, in Mexico of about 14, 00 and in Canada 68,000. The defective spring that may prevent the interiors of the door handles totally returning the stowed position which further allows the doors through pop, especially on the side impact crash. The Ford made a noticed with the help of “National Highway Traffic Safety Administration” and further posted the news of recalling the models on the agency’s website. The reason for recalling on the notice posted was all about the loose door handles that may cause rattle or any other noise while driving.
The company is issuing such news from the month of August last year, but they didn’t notice until more number of complaints got registered on the site. Till the 21 January, there were no reports on the injuries and accidents occurred by the Ford F-150’s model. Ford Motor Company will notify the buyers by recalling the units of vehicles with the help of Lincoln dealership who will inspect the faulty door handles models. If only the model discovers any problems related to the faulty or defective handles, it will be further replace or reinforce and that will depend on damage gone through the trucks.
The latest news on the recall was been held with Dearborn, Michigan based company with 9, 00, 00. In the last month the company recalled more than 5 lakhs of Wind star minivans. In U.S. still 22 states are been registered in order to fix the problems soon because of the poor handling doors in Ford F-150’s Pickup trucks.
