A dump truck clipped a pole near a state Department of Transportation job site on Elk Vale Road near Interstate 90 Exit 61, knocking down a traffic signal light, according to the Rapid City Police Department.

The intersection was closed for 15 to 20 minutes while debris was picked up. Stop signs and flag people were dispatched to control traffic until the light can be put back up. No citations were issued.
