Trucks of all makes and models glistened in the searing heat at the Ararat Jailhouse Rock Festival’s 2008 Truck Show.
Truckies converged on Ararat with the hope of their polished up rig taking out one of the day’s categories.
The day was a huge success, with trucking enthusiasts and curious visitors inspecting the many trucks on display.
Ryan Hardiman from Kenworth Trucks answered questions about the Kenworth on display, while everyone enjoyed sitting up in the cabin of the Big Rig to see what it was like to be behind the wheel.
The organisers of the 2008 truck show appreciate the support of all companies involved in supporting the show this year.
Companies included Kenworth Trucks, Electro Power and Date from Ballarat, IVECO Trucks, VOLVO, Mack Trucks, Hella Australia and Fry’s Spares.
Ararat Auto Pro and Ararat First National Real Estate supplied marquees, which provided some much-needed shade on the day.
