Today you may find Chevrolet 1500 in local used car lot. They were manufactured in various body styles with 4.3 liter, 5.0 liter and 5.8 liter engines. Chevrolet offered as c/k models. Where C denoted rear wheel drive and k denoted all wheel drive. If you find harder in the car lots across places you can find 1500 even with manual gear box.
The truck was equipped with 5.8 liter V8 which wasn’t new at that time. The V8 engines have its roots back in fifties. The 1999 Chevrolet 3500 HD came with C and K options that are rear wheel drive or all wheel drive. The truck had dual rear wheels with all wheel Anti Brake System. The features included daytime running lights, intermittent wipers, antitheft system, AM/FM Stereo, front reading lamps and bench seats.
Engine availability for Chevrolet 3500HD were made available with different engine displacement which included a 6.5 liter diesel V8 that generated 190 horsepower, than was the regular fuel 5.7 liter V8 generating 245 horse power the most powerful engine equipped was a 7.4 liter V8 that generated a massive 290 horsepower, all of these engine options were offered as either 4 speed automatic transmission or a 5 speed automatic.
